The collector vehicle markets continue the trend of balance and normalcy! A record breaking first quarter ushered in a balance between buyers and sellers in the second quarter and that trend continued in the third quarter.
With an upgraded optimistic outlook on the remainder of the year and early 2026, macroeconomic concerns due to tariffs, global unrest, inflation, consumer spending and a potential recession continue to linger in the background.
Second Quarter Mid-Year 2025
Finally, the collector vehicle markets have returned to normalcy! After several years of volatility and imbalance, the collector vehicle markets have finally returned to normalcy with the truck and 4x4 segment continuing to appreciate! A record breaking first quarter ushered in a balance between buyers and sellers in the second quarter.
With a cautiously optimistic outlook on the remainder of the year, macroeconomic concerns due to tariffs, global unrest, inflation, consumer spending and a potential recession still linger in the background.
First Quarter 2025
The collector vehicle market continued to balance out and experience stabilization and appreciation! The first quarter saw several historic record-breaking transactions and a momentous dollar volume milestone. As the first quarter concluded, volatility in the macroeconomic landscape, caused by politically motivated tariffs, brought uncertainty back to the collector vehicle market.
Though the first-quarter metrics were promising, we remain cautiously optimistic. A changing macroeconomic landscape could impact the performance of the collector vehicle market for the remainder of 2025.
Fourth Quarter Year End 2024
With the worst behind us, the collector vehicle markets stabilized in 2024 and the future is bright in 2025! Though there are some soft spots in the market, overall collector vehicle sellers aren't giving anything away and buyers aren't getting smoking deals with both sides of the transaction walking away satisfied.
With an upgraded cautiously optimistic outlook got 2025, the collector truck and 4x4 markets remaining strong, driven by generational demand, and future growth is inevitable.
