2006 jeep wrangler
Classic 4x4 is excited to present this well-equipped, modified, and refurbished 2006 Jeep Wrangler. Driven only 59,255 miles with three owners in the past 19 years, it's no surprise this Jeep shows exceptionally well, finished in Impact Orange with a Dark Slate Gray interior. Power is sourced from the iconic 4.0L inline 6-cylinder gas engine, mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range, part-time four-wheel-drive transfer case. It cruises comfortably with electronic fuel injection, air conditioning, LED lighting, power brakes, power steering, and an AM/FM/CD stereo. The selling dealer had a comprehensive mechanical, systems, and drivability inspection and subsequent refurbishment work performed by Mount Zion Offroad. There are no known mechanical, systems or major cosmetic deficiencies. The known minor cosmetic imperfections are pictured in the gallery or disclosed in the pre-sale inspection report. It has a clean Pennsylvania title in the current dealer’s name and is located in Dover, Pennsylvania. This Wrangler is a true testament to the legendary versatility of these classic 4x4s with modern amenities and safety features, ready to turn heads and conquer all terrains.
History
The Jeep Wrangler debuted in 1986 as a 1987 model year. Spanning four generations, signified by their two-letter model designations, the Wrangler is still produced currently. The second-generation Jeep Wrangler "TJ" was produced from 1997 to 2006 and is known by enthusiasts as the last "True Jeep."
This final-year and well-equipped X Trim with 24X Customer Preferred Package Wrangler was delivered new in November 2006. As per the clean CarFax and AutoCheck reports, it is accident-free with only three owners, 59,158 miles, and resided in Delaware during the past 19 years. The original owner had the Jeep from 2006 to 2010. It was acquired by the second owner in November 2010 and owned through 2020. The third owner acquired it in July 2020 and had it through 2024. It was subsequently acquired by the selling dealer in June 2025, underwent a comprehensive mechanical, systems, and drivability inspection, and was modified and refurbished by Mount Zion Offroad.
Exterior
The body presents itself impeccably and is finished in the rare color, Impact Orange. The paint shows exceptionally well with shine and depth and appears to be original. The body and frame are free of any major imperfections. It is equipped with the rare factory half-door option, allowing for the lower hard doors to remain or be removed while the soft upper doors and top are removed. The selling dealer installed new black color-coordinating Rough Country fender flares with side marker lights, LED headlights, windshield wipers, small-diameter Gorilla lug nuts, and 15 x 8 American Racing Baja wheels wrapped in 33 x 12.5 Falken Wildpeak tires. Under prior ownership, the LED taillights, black Rampage frameless trail top soft top with tinted windows and color-coordinating taillight brush guards, grill inserts, headlight surrounds, cowl vent scoop, and "stubby" front and rear bumper caps were installed. The exterior features swing-away side view mirrors.

Interior
The interior presents itself exceptionally well, is highly original, and finished in Slate Gray. The factory-optioned high-back front bucket seats with passenger easy-access tip-and-slide seat and folding rear bench seat are finished in slate gray cloth. The slate gray seats are accompanied by a coordinating dashboard, door panels, carpet, sport bar padding, and factory-optioned full-length center console. Tunes radiate from the factory AM/FM/CD player, two dashboard-mounted speakers, and two overhead sound bar-mounted speakers with factory-optioned courtesy lamps. The comfortable interior is equipped with modern safety and comfort amenities like air conditioning, variable intermittent windshield wipers, a 12v auxiliary power outlet, cup holders, a locking glovebox and center console, front and rear three-point seatbelts, and front airbags. The selling dealer installed new Rough Country molded all-weather front floor mats.

Mechanical
The Jeep is in excellent running and driving condition; it starts, idles, drives, steers, and stops well and as it should. The original factory-optioned 4.0 liter inline 6-cylinder Power Tech gas engine is mated to the 42RLE 4-speed automatic transmission with lock-up torque converter and New Process Command-Trac dual-range part-time 4-wheel-drive transfer case. Power is sent to the wheels through a solid Dana 30 front axle and 3.73 geared Dana 35 rear axle. Stopping power is provided by factory power brakes with front discs and rear drums. Responsive steering is produced by factory power steering. The suspension was modified under prior ownership with what appears to be a Rough Country 2.5-inch full suspension lift. The selling dealer had a comprehensive mechanical, systems, and drivability inspection and subsequent refurbishment work performed by Mount Zion Offroad. Subsequent refurbishment work included replacing the front upper control arms, bushings and hardware, front lower control arms, bushings and hardware, Rough Country forged adjustable front track bar, blower motor resistor, rebuilding the rear drum brakes, four-wheel Hunter Hawkeye Elite laser alignment, and an oil change.
