Blending vintage style with modern capability, this one-of-a-kind build features the original 1975 F-250 Ranger patina body mounted on a 1997 F-350 chassis powered by the legendary 7.3L V8 Power Stroke turbo diesel four-wheel-drive powertrain.
This distinctive truck was professionally built by Mintonyes Conversions and Hodson Motors, combining the heritage aesthetic of a “Dentside” F-250 with the strength and reliability of a modern “OBS” F-350.
Finished in its original two tone Medium Green Glow Metallic patina, the truck is complemented by a custom upholstered color-coordinated interior in green, gray, and black. It offers comfort and convenience with a suite of modern upgrades.
This 1975 Ford F-250 4x4 restomod is a true showcase of vintage character and modern performance. A rare opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts, this custom build is turnkey, road-ready, and off-road capable.
History
Known among enthusiasts as the “Dentside” generation, the sixth-generation F-Series (1973–1979) is celebrated for its clean lines and rugged styling. This 1975 Ford F-250 was built on May 20, 1975, at the San Jose, California, plant and sold new on September 11, 1975, at Wilson Motors in Corvallis, Oregon. Documented history shows ownership in Oregon, Nevada, and California.
The restoration and modifications were completed in 2024 by Mintonyes Conversions of Junction City, OR, and Hodson Motors of Las Vegas, NV. The truck entered the current owner’s collection in December 2024 and is currently located in Los Angeles, California. It has a clean and clear California title in the current owner’s name. The replacement odometer shows 730 miles since the completion of the build; true mileage is unknown.
There are no known mechanical, electrical, or systems deficiencies. Aside from the original preserved patina, there are no known major cosmetic or structural issues.
Exterior
The original body remains intact with factory paint, trim, and bumpers, boasting an irreplaceable and carefully preserved patina. The body was polished and buffed to highlight its character, while the hood was replaced and painted to blend seamlessly with the original finish. An AcustiHood hoodliner was also installed.
A 1976 grille with integrated LED headlights adds a stylish upgrade. The bed has been professionally refinished with bedliner, and features a custom spare tire carrier and flip-up gooseneck trailer hitch.
Seals and window felts were replaced, including the addition of an “OBS” rear sliding window. Rough Country power running boards offer easy cab access, and the truck sits on 17x10” US Mags Indy polished aluminum wheels wrapped in 37x12.5” Milestar Patagonia XT tires.
