The fabrication and electrification were designed, engineered, and reimagined by Zero Labs. The remastered custom carbon fiber and steel body and carbon fiber removable top are finished in stunning metallic silver white. The redesigned Eames inspired modern interior is finished in pure white leather and bamboo, complemented by nickel-platted controls and trim. Modern comfort and safety features include a Sony digital multimedia touchscreen audio system, power windows and doors, 3-way adjustable heated seats, climate control, family safety cage with three-point seatbelts, backup camera and LED lighting.
Modern drivability comes from an electric powertrain with an estimated range of 170 plus miles from a 70 kWh battery pack powering the BorgWarner electric motor and controller system. The onboard charger accommodates SAE J1172 level 2 charging. Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, Atlas twin-stick dual-range transfer case and Currie solid axles. The custom laser cut steel chassis, Fox coil spring suspension, power steering with Fox stabilizer, and four-wheel Brembo disc brakes provide a responsive and comfortable modern driving experience. This feat of engineering and design innovation is serviceable by a nationwide network of electric vehicle repair specialists.

History
The first-generation Ford Bronco produced from 1966 to 1977 is an iconic and versatile vehicle known for its rugged simplicity and legendary capability. This 1972 Bronco was built on September 28, 1972, at the Michigan Truck Plant and sold new on December 30, 1972, at Benna Ford in Twin Harbors, Michigan
Acquired by Zero Labs in 2016 as a highly original donor vehicle, it made history as their original development vehicle, DEV001. It subsequently underwent a complete redesign, reengineering and refabrication before being completed as a Zero Labs custom electric vehicle in 2019. It was featured in Esquire, Fast Company, GQ, MotorTrend, Top Gear, Robb Report, The Wall Street Journal, Wired and many other prominent publications.
The Bronco joined the current owner’s collection in May 2025. It holds a clean and clear California title in the current owner’s name and is located in Newport Beach, California. It reportedly underwent more than 1,800 research and development miles prior to the current custom digital gauge cluster installation showing 701 miles, true mileage is unknown.
Exterior
The exterior presents impeccably, as expected after years of custom designing, engineering and fabricating by the innovators at Zero Labs. The reengineered and remastered carbon fiber and steel body and carbon fiber removable sound-attenuated hard top are finished in metallic silver white. The body is mounted to the proprietary Zero Labs electric vehicle platform, which is engineered to feature a custom-designed laser-cut steel chassis that seamlessly integrates the electric powertrain, suspension, steering and braking components.

The Eames-inspired interior presents beautifully and is a feat of modern design and engineering. Finished in pure white leather sourced from the Hydes company and accented by French stitching, molded bamboo trim and nickel-plated controls and finishes, no expense has been spared in the design and fabrication of the interior.

The BorgWarner three-phase AC electric motor and PM250 controller system produces an estimated 350 horsepower and foot pounds of torque at a maximum 14,000 revolutions per minute.
