1971 Chevrolet K10 Custom
No detail was overlooked in the restoration of this iconic “Action Line” Chevrolet pickup — representing the perfect blend of original heritage and modern drivability.
Finished in striking Hugger Orange with Summit White accents, this K10 commands attention while staying true to its heritage. Inside, the beautifully restored Cheyenne-style interior features embossed black vinyl upholstery, woodgrain trim, and period-correct detailing.
Power comes from the rebuilt, original 5.7L Small Block Chevrolet 350 V8 engine with a Rochester Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor, paired with a Turbo-Hydramatic 350 3-speed automatic transmission and New Process 205 dual-range transfer case. A Dana 44 front axle with Superwinch locking hubs and GM 12-bolt rear axle deliver legendary four-wheel-drive capability.
Most recently, the truck underwent a comprehensive mechanical, systems, and drivability inspection, along with modifications and refinements completed by prominent 4x4 outfitter Mount Zion Offroad.
Whether you’re a serious collector, an enthusiast seeking a show-quality example, or someone who appreciates a trail-ready icon with documented restoration, this K10 represents a rare opportunity to own a standout piece of American automotive history.
History
The second-generation Chevrolet “Action Line” pickups (1967–1972) are among the most iconic and collectible GM trucks ever produced — celebrated for their rugged simplicity and timeless design.
This 1971 K10 was built at the St. Louis Assembly Plant and spent much of its life working Montana ranches. It later joined a private collection in Billings, Montana, where it underwent a comprehensive, documented, frame-off restoration between 2024 and 2025.
In 2025, the truck entered the current owner’s collection in Dover, Pennsylvania, where it received further refinement, upgrades, and a comprehensive inspection by Mount Zion Offroad.
Detailed restoration and modification documentation from both prior and current ownership is included in the sale. The truck holds a clean and clear Pennsylvania title in the current owner’s business name and is located in Dover, PA.
The five-digit odometer reads approximately 92,718 miles, true mileage is unknown, and approximately 500 miles added since the restoration. There are no known mechanical, electrical, structural, or significant cosmetic deficiencies, consistent with a high-quality restoration.
Exterior
The exterior presents exceptionally well, as expected from a frame-off restoration. The original steel body is finished in a Hugger Orange and Summit White two-tone scheme, complemented by new trim, polished hardware, and attention to factory-correct detail.
Frame, underbody, and engine bay refinished in black
